In this New Year, what better way to celebrate than to remember and rejoice that the Yhwh, the God of Israel has been revealed to us as Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And as our Lord Jesus taught us to pray, Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven... (Matt 6). The sounding of the trumpet is the sign of God's coming, a time of preparation before atonement day and through forgiveness of sins we are welcome into God's presence and enter into the everlasting fellowship in the tent of God, sukkoth our dwelling place with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and in eternity.
